James Harden’s beard has changed over time

Both the Rockets guard’s step back jumper and James Harden’s beard have become synonymous with him. As the image up top demonstrates, Harden formerly had a clean-shaved appearance when attending Arizona State University.

While Harden has always had a beard, it has become longer as his career has gone on. Take a look at Harden’s shorter beard in comparison to his present appearance.

Harden’s moustache has had an impact on even the arts. Filip Peraic, a Croatian artist, based his portrait series on Harden’s appearance.

Peraic said to CNN, “I did not choose him based on his game.” I just wanted to find someone who was attractive. He has an extremely attractive and distinctive beard profile.

Harden acknowledges that he gets anxious and can’t even cut his own beard. The Rockets guard gives this task to his barber because he doesn’t want to ruin his appearance.

According to The Dream Shake, Harden said, “I let my barber trim it.” “I only allow that individual to trim. I’m too apprehensive to touch. I’m going to be mad at myself if I clip or do something incorrectly.

Before being traded to Houston, Harden played for the Thunder alongside Kevin Durant and Russell Westbrook. Harden used to be an Oklahoma City reserve player at one point. Durant said that Harden has used his beard to establish his own brand.

“It wasn’t a thing until he started playing with us, and some people need something to grab on to, and I think that was it,” Durant said to The Athletic. He established a cute little brand for himself. It all happened so fast. Given that his career has progressed in a similar manner, I suppose it’s interesting to see where it all began and where it is today. He must have grown a beard during the course of his professional life. It’s quite delightful.

Despite Harden’s declaration that he will never trim his beard, there is a certain amount of money that might persuade him to look for a razor. Harden stated to Jason Concepcion of The Ringer that he would need at least $10 million to shave his beard. Back in 2013, Harden admitted to TMZ that he could consider shaving his beard for charity.

The secret to surviving with a beard, according to Harden, is having good friends. The NBA All-Star wonders if something is lodged in his beard.

Harden told The Athletic that it was difficult to eat. You need trustworthy friends and others to inform you that your beard contains objects because of this.

Harden’s moustache served as inspiration for even confectionery. The Trolli Sour Brites created a candy bar called “Weird Beards” that featured Harden.
