Indian pacer Jasprit Bumrah has been found guilty of breaching the ICC code of conduct.
The Indian pacer (Jasprit Bumrah) was disciplined for violating the ICC code of conduct in the first Test against England.
Jasprit Bumrah has been formally reprimanded for breaching Level 1 of the ICC Code of Conduct for an incident that occurred on the fourth day of India’s first Test against England in Hyderabad.

The incident occurred in the 81st over of England’s second innings, when Bumrah intentionally stepped into the path of Ollie Pope while running, causing inappropriate physical contact.
The pacer was found to have breached Article 2.12 of his ICC Code of Conduct for Players and Player Support Personnel. This provision relates to “inappropriate physical contact with players, player support personnel, referees, match referees or other persons, including players.”
As it was Bumrah’s first violation in 24 months, a deduction was added to his record.

This charge was quashed by Paul Reiffel and Chris Gaffaney, third referee Mare Erasmus. and Rohan Pandit, the fourth umpire.
Level 1 violations typically carry a minimum of an official reprimand and a maximum of a fine of 50% of the player’s match fee and one or two demerit points.
No formal hearing was required as Bumrah admitted the offense and accepted the penalty imposed by Richie Richardson of the Emirates ICC Elite Match Referees Committee.
